The focus is primarily on targeting children, hospitals and ambulances for these degenerates and they're not bombing Iran to liberate it. Putin is friends with wealthy Zionist oligarchs who have financial and religious interests in the occupied territories. If it wanted, Russia could have moved a handful of S-400s into Iran and the Epstein coalition would then not have the gumption to conduct bombing runs over the country. His balancing act is retaining close a friendship with his Zionist pals while also keeping Iran supplied well enough that it won't be turned into a fractured failed state, which would be a security risk.

The US doesn't care about Russia but Russia losing focus opened up Syria, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela to be taken. This attack would not be possible had Syria not fallen.

JazzG things are more nuanced then you like to project. The Iran regime can be deplorable and don't deserve sympathy whilst equally holding the way the US and it's allies have conducted themselves is also worthy of condemnation. Basically dismantling any sort of idea of international law kidnapping and assassinating any leader you want and once you open that box you can't say ah but it would not be okay if it was this country we like, no you've lost any moral position to argue back.

Trumps love for Putin is an example that he's a petty horrific person at heart and all his actions should be judged in that lens.

Though the war has had benefits for Russia. It has massively weakened Europe shown us to be weak and the surge in energy prices has sped up deindustrialisation and China have happily stepped in to absorb that. Leaving us even more exposed and vulnerable. That war has also massively strengthen the internal Russian economy, talk of Russian economy collapse has been going on for ages and nothing has happened. Europe are grandstanding about not buying Russian oil, they are just buying it via India instead!

That's not really true.

Forget every other metric - include inflation and growth that has gone sour in 2025 - the demographic price that Russia has paid for the war will ruin another generation.

JazzG the war is going to be disastrous for Russia they've ruined their future to throw everything at this conflict and it's totally wrecking their economy. They have significant demographic problems and their early spacing is running out while neglecting their own people. The liner the way continues the worse it gets for them if it wasn't for trump they would have no out but to come and comprise.
