Gazza M Carney seems to be the only western leader who has fully absorbed the reality of what the US is doing, and is planning accordingly.
He's the only one saying it out loud, which is the subject of his WEF "Special Address".
Carney is trying to do the whole "Secret Speech" thing à la Khrushchev's concession that Stalin was a tyrant, but to do it at the WEF, which it would be fair to think of as the annual plenary meeting of the politburo of the party of capital, the "international community", the "rules-based order" ... the United States empire in other words.
Carney even alludes (via his anecdote about Vaclav Havel) to the theory of ideological control mediated by a Big Other in his speech. Žižek must be laughing, his biggest concept has gone to the very heart of realpolitik.
