MAGA really thought they could keep the firehose of bigotry under control. hate is the love language of the entire GOP since before trump, but now theyre losing control of the loonies, and the hate bomb has exploded inside the tent. the entire last 10 years has just been empty, reactionary bomb throwing that achieved nothing. except crime, lots of that.

this guy managed to charm trump in their 1 on 1 meeting. it definitely won't last given trumps temperament, but they were way more friendly than anyone anticipated

interesting that the chief of staff did 11 interviews with vanity fair, much of was uncharacteristically candid/critical of trump and the cabinet (trump behaves like an alcoholic, elons a crackhead, vance is a conspiracy theorist etc).
she seemed to break most of the established rules of trumpworld sycophantism, and yet they all came out and praised her. feels like a powerplay by her to remind her colleagues that shes the only one who can say this stuff and not get fired. she's the one who really would know where the bodies are buried. she worked for bibis campaign n 2020 as well, interestingly.

And trump looks to be feeling the pressure going on a pathetic rant having created a worsening cost of living crisis with direct actions like tariffs but no it's not his fault. I wonder if an those people who thought they likes of trump and musk etc were anything more the self interest hateful fools are able to see the truth given everything his admin has done. Or are they still ensnared by the cult of personality.
