Clrnc not the league, but maybe you can fluke your way to a champions league if you're really good defensively.

I don't mind us being great at set pieces. It's often a deciding factor in big matches.
But it's a little funny if you at the same time tend to concede from them as well, and your overall play simultaneously deteriorates.
Don’t know why folks are so down on the set pieces. It would be nice to get a flowing attacking goal. But those set pieces are an outcome of our advanced positions. And they show how well coached we are.
Potter at the emirates today
Wonder if we're in for another blues reject

Why not, would make quite a few wishes come true.
HomeSteak we lost to West Ham and Liverpool without Havertz in midfield. The problem goes beyond a scapegoat
Mirth we dominated those games though, the midfield was good in those games.
Trossard shot had deflection

naz it’s a conspiracy to hurt my fantasy team
Dull.
In:
Gabriel Magalhaes Being up 2–0 at half time
Out:
No goals from open play Dysfunctional left side Raya bungles
Burnwinter Saka with lame take-ons. Trossard still ineffective and sloppy.

Given how badly we're missing passing capabilities down the left channel, it might be worth considering moving Ode to a sole 10 role, so he has the freedom to move laterally and combine down both flanks.
daredevil It's Emile time
I’ve never been one to target players and scapegoat them, and he’s by not means the only under performer, but I can’t deal with Havertz in midfield anymore.
Our front three continually seem to shut down space rather than open it. Nobody beating a man, opening space with a clever turn, first time pass, dummy run etc.
Pepe LeFrits the players have/feel zero freedom for instinctive, off the cuff play.
Bring Smith Rowe on for the whole second half I reckon. Not gonna get too many opportunities more convenient than this.
Thought White looked good in that half. Be great if h can get back to his best for the rest of the season.
Uncanny touch by Øde to open the half. Kid's got a gift.
