goon Nelson has looked really poor in all his cameos lately. I don't think he's much of a solution to anything. We should move him out on loan in January to try and raise some value. Arteta hasn't given him a league start in 3 years, he's clearly got no future here

Either way stylistically I think it’s what we need, someone who can run and carry the ball.

Though I guess if we’re lacking killer instinct in from of goal then really it has to be Trossard.

Winning today will off-set the West Ham result nicely (... or just make it more frustrating.. yeah probably that) but I'm not feeling great about this. I think we are starting to show some fragility.

I am open to the idea of Eddie starting rather than bringing him on, especially if it's when we are chasing the game. Agreed on Nelson, he's crap.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert you were saying he deserved a chance in the first team before the WH game and now he needs to be banished to the reserves based off a ten minute cameo? 🤔

Whilst he's never going to be 1st choice for us, he's all we've got in terms of squad options this season and I maintain he's shown enough to get more game time. Maybe if he gets more starts (eg. PSV away) he'll show better form.

One potential change before he goes - Kiwior at left back. Let’s see if Arteta freshens things up. The data suggests he doesn’t need to change the team from West Ham. But 1 or 2 changes would be good given the short turnaround.

Good changes. I expect Jesus and Zinchenko will come on. Still a bit worried about Kiwiors passing from left back, feels more of a centre half and in other games he started we needed Zinchenko to pick up our passing game. Guy needs chances though and now's the perfect time.

IBL I think it's unlikely. Seems a centre half to me but if he can cover at LB then it's a good thing. He can certainly defend I just don't think on the ball he's suited to it.

Eddie has looked sharp when coming on, but it’s a big boost for him to get the nod ahead of Jesus, even if it is just for a game.

You obviously didn’t watch the MLS skills challenge.

I think he’s basic but decent on the ball, quick, crisp passing is all you really need.

goon he's fine on the ball at centre half, has a decent passing range but he's not got the ability to get out of pressure at LB and start things they way Zinny and Tomi do. He's smart enough to realise it so just keeps it simple instead of losing it but it costs us build up options and speed. I think at CB his passing range would be more beneficial. I don't think Gabriel would be a particularly good full back either but he's a very good passer too.
