I feel for Zinchenko btw. He gets a lot of pelters for a guy where very little of the issue lies and much of our good work comes from. I’ll. write a longer post with advanced data tomorrow, but this guy is actually one of our very best players.

Claudius our defensive issues (few as they are) stem from our full backs. Ben White and himself. And Ben White is basic. Zinchenko is worse. He's shit.

What he does for us in transition/attack shows nothing to disprove this. I don't give players who are supposed to be 2-way players a pass just because they perform one aspect of their job at a decent to good level.

Don Pacifico yep. no title winning team has to wrestle narrow wins all season long. its not sustainable. at some point you have to start steam rolling, scoring gluts of quick goals and killing games early. you can count how many times we've done that on 1 hand this season
