I’m concerned by our offense.
The volume of chances we created today was magnificent, but it was appalling how wasteful we were. Each attacker seems to have huge flaws and they leave us devoid of any efficiency.
Our striker had maybe two shots in a game with 20 shots on goal. The only reason he’s not getting roasted for his performance is a lucky goal and because that game didn’t end up 1-1.
Similarly, Martinelli looks completely lost on how to create goal scoring chances for himself these days. I appreciate his drive and ability to create a large volume of half chances (for others), but it’s appalling to see him in this state.
