QuincyAbeyie We absolutely ruined this Brighton as a team, they barely touched it all game and we created a dozen good scoring situations. Yeah they're not the force they were in 22–23 but it's still encouraging on that level.

Tactics

Finally won our home match against these lot! I must say though that I'm getting worried by our poor decision making, final ball and finishing in the final 3rd.

However I was quite impressed with our use of long passes to escape Brighton's high press. I remember Raya hitting some fantastic long passes in the 1st 15 minutes. This allowed us to play in their half and pin them back. Encouraging to see before our trip to Anfield where we'll face high and relentless pressing from the home side.
