Generally, I think we've done ok on league fixtures proceeding a midweek CL tie. Except for how the team showed up against Spurs after the PSV game. Curious to observe the energy and intent today from the start. The stakes are still enticing, with the possibility of City dropping points.

Yeah, a win is a win, and I’d be happy with a routine 2-0 victory.

That being said, I’d like to see some weight given to my theory that having all of our bad boys back in the attack will see some fluidity return.

Hoping for an earlyish goal to open things up.

Surprised not to see Havertz starting, but I don't mind this lineup at all. I am sure Kai will be one of the subs. He can he useful holding the ball up later in the match if we're ahead, or a tall presence in the box if we're chasing it.

Like seeing Trossard at 8 again, much prefer him centrally, with a run of games think he can be a serious attacking option there
