On my way home from the game (first since COVID!) and felt great to be back (last CL game I went to was a frustrating loss vs Bayern...). Far less neggy behaviour in the crowd and much more diversity too - just all feels more positive.
Not revelatory but game today confirmed what I've felt for a while - that our current iteration of Arteta-ball is designed for the pace and style of CL football although it feels a bit like the inverse of early years Wenger in that respect. Jorginho is perfectly suited to this kind of game and I think he gets a lot of unfair criticism for what at worst are mediocre performances. You can see how he's constantly organising those around him on the pitch and dictating the pace of the game.
