Qwiss it was a genuinely magnificent hattrick. Up there with the best of them we've seen (albeit too infrequently) over the years.
I thought Eddie looked a lot better with ESR and Havertz as split 8/10s. He had more room to maneuver and put his running power to use. He likes to pull defenders around in bigger spaces, rather than make tidy little one-twos or drop deep into a congested midfield.
It also meant our main creators were the deeper playmakers like Rice and Zinchenko, rather than Odegaard and Saka who are often already pushed high up into the forward line. Eddie thrived on that verticality.
