They don't even press Havertz, they just cover the nearest passing options as that's all he's looking to do.

Don Pacifico I thought Havertz was decent but that sub makes sense because bringing Vieira on to play winger changes our balance too much. Wouldn't even mind just swapping Vieira, Havertz and Jesus around for the first 10 minutes of this half and seeing if it works.

Impressed with Lens and their coach. Wise to us, and they're betting we won't take advantage of the openings. So far, they're right.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert at the moment, I think the midfield is the bigger issue than our forward line. They've been very uninspiring and it's making it difficult for our forwards to get on the ball.

Havertz makes our midfield imbalanced, he slows down the game, opts for very simple and safe passes, doesn't dribble, doesn't make dangerous runs etc... Some people were claiming he needs one goal and things are going to change, lel.

Just saw the Bellingham goal. That's exactly what I'm talking about. When they set up for a high press, someone needs to drive forward with the ball at feet to take advantage. Should probably be Havertz, tbh, but Odegaard could as well.
