NBA 23/24
Celtics did it. Well deserved in the end. All it took was just a stacked team from the top to the bottom.
Brown FMVP. Although this wasn't his best game, really deserved for what he did in the first three wins. Today I thought Holiday and Tatum were the keys. Could have easily been either of them winning it too. White great as always, even lost a tooth for the cause. Pritchard hitting two shots in 5 games, both being half-court buzzer-beaters.
Hard to say they aren't deserving champs, they've been whooping everyone all year. Think Luka will learn from it and come back even stronger.

R.I.P. Dikembe Mutombo. fuck cancer. dead at 58 when worthless fuckers like trump can live forever.

When I think Dikembe, I think Nuggets Sonics 1994. One of the great upsets. Dikembe lying on the court holding the ball in a release of joy and relief. RIP
absolute legend on the court and an even better guy off, from what ive read. rest in power, king.
Luka to the Lakers wtf!
yeah thats a grenade. seems to purely be an economic decision by the mavs
Yeah it's a shame to see Luka and Kyrie broken up without achieving anything.
As a bit of a Laker fan since Kobe I'm very excited to see Luka there though as he's been my current favourite player since I seen him live last year
Qwiss Mavs saying they are worried about his conditioning would be like Napoli saying they’re worried about Maradona’s penchant for prostitutes and cocaine.
For the Lakers - this is a megastar club. I remember the club’s lack of identity between Magic and Shaq. No brainer even if they don’t have a front court in the shower term.
Yeah but they are replacing him with AD who isn't exactly mister availability either.

This needs investigating lol. I understand, let's say that the Mavs owner is cheap and does not want to give him the next max out, that would be the biggest contract in NBA history. But that is only in 2026. Then they traded him for AD ? They didn't put him on the market? The official reason is "Defense wins rings" lol. Every single team in the league would have offered a deal for Luka, with a shit load of them better then what they got.
Hell, Pat Riley would have driven Adebayo, Butler to Dallas himself, and 1-2 squad players + 3-4 picks for him.
What they did makes 0 sense. The league was suffering, with rating going down the toilet...they needed this drama, and they needed Luka in LA. It's the only way this makes sense for me, Silver got involved.
