Brentford are a wounded animal after their last two results. Be aware of them coming at us aggressively like they did in that home game a few years ago.

Much as I look forward to actually playing, still reckon my whole week is counting down to our next game. Maybe kinda sad, but that's what 20 something years of a habit brings.

daredevil gotta say, especially having missed a year and a half with a knee injury which refuses to heal properly, I looooooove playing football so much more than watching it, the highlight of the week.

My regular game was always on a Thursday night, so Arsenal's demotion to the Spursday night Euro campaigns just meant I missed watching Arsenal, until I got injured anyway.

I have a feeling we'll see something far more conservative, I don't think Arteta will field a true second string side because he won't put out an XI that he imagines will lack tactical coherence.

I'd love to see a couple of youngsters start but I think that's a little too youth. I'd fit Vieira in there somewhere and maybe even Eddie as I'm inclined to drop him in coming games.

I have to say though if Cedric starts I might add a 12th red flag to Sicario's list.

Was at that game, used to love going to League Cup games during that period between 2006 and 2011. We didn't seem to get many home games over the years during that period but when we did they were fun to attend. Used to take my younger brothers and cousins out with me at just 10 to 15 pounds a pop. Good times being able to see all those kids out there giving the likes of Sheffield, Everton, Newcastle, West Brom and Liverpool a run for their money.
