Qwiss i think we executed 50% of the game plan perfectly. our press had them spooked for 35 minutes and we should've had a 2nd to bury their confidence. the other 50% - passing and finishing - unfortunately hasn't been up to scratch

HomeSteak I agree, they scored because it isn't sticking up top. Eddie the worst offender, but Saka and Odegaard are playing their part.

HomeSteak so much happens after that point that it isn’t reasonable to pin the blame on Nketiah.

On the flip side, Jesus has to at least work the keeper after he robs Maddison on the edge of the box. No excuse for not hitting the target from a central position that close to goal. Those are the big moments that can swing momentum.

that was always the case. they gave him a new contract knowing that's all he was good for and i don't really see his value in this team. the team suffers when he starts and he doesn't score off the bench.

The solution to these issues is often the threat of the ball to Martinelli (or Trossard in fact), not to mention Gabi's great energy. We look a bit static and lacking in athleticism today
