The odd thing is they are on this insane run but I don't think it's a good sign generally if you are in these positions needing these crazy outs.

They are creating loads of chances, just not finishing, and the goals they conceded today were basically flukes.

But I agree in general. This is an anomaly. Great to witness though.

Yeah the amount of chances created today by them is insane. So many clear chances straight at keeper or over the bar.

Their tactics is a bit unique like Thiago Motta's Bologna, players have very little fixed positions and their football is aimed to get as many people into the box as possible which is why their defenders scoring stats are insane but feels like next season teams will be better setup for them. They leave very little defenders at the back and is susceptible to counters.

Anyway never seen anything in football like this

Coombs what? Lol he won 1 league title, 1 FA Cup and a crap community shield in 1.5 years while setting the goal scoring record at the time in the PL, over 100 goals. so more then us in 20 years. Give the man some respect.

HomeSteak also a reminder of how tough it is to get extra points in this part of the table. That Ancelotti Chelsea team went from third the previous season to first by squeezing out 3 extra points. But they did increase goals scored over 50% versus the previous season. Which is an insane improvement considering the points return on that.

Xabi drops all 3 of his strikers to the bench and plays without any striker. He also starts his 2nd choice goalie Kovar instead of Hradecky.

Hincapie is one to watch. Can play CB/LB to a high degree. Would love him here if we are selling Kiwior

Games like this reminds me how much we don't miss Xhaka in midfield. Way too many unnecessary touches and sideway passes slowing the game down. Can't deal with press at all then every now and then some Hollywood passes that totally goes astray.

Our midfield has gone a level up since he left.
