Brighton will find the Thur-Sun very tough this season and they got a very hard EL group even for that competitions standards. Hence I’m not too worried about them this season.

I’ve also often noticed that Brighton tend to lose randomly the game after a big result. Even happened last year after they beat Utd, they got hammered by Everton at home.

Xabi is quite unique though in his football. Seems like he combined the best of Ancelotti and Heckynes. No inverted fullback, straight and proper old school attacking

Love Cesc, but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, I don't see him becoming a top manager.

Nah Cesc is a smart cookie. Has so much international experience in different leagues and has been managed by Wenger, Jose and Pep. I would be shocked if he doesn’t end up a good manager.

Also moving to another country at 16 and succeeding says a lot about his character.

More importantly he is a winner and would get instant respect from young players who prob idolised him when growing up.

Get ready mate, because Cesc doesn't have the presence or people skills for the job. Cesc as a player was more savant than genius, he has a brain like a supercomputer, but its capacity is all devoted to solving spatial problems, as if he's an assassin robot. He'd be stood in front of the electric whiteboard automatically calculating the flight trajectory of his laser pointer to the rubbish bin.
