Qwiss David Raya exudes calmness
Clrnc And some here are worried about Ramsdale.
Raya is the real deal.
Thought today was Kai’s best game but still only 6.5/10. Still a bit passive/nervy but grew in the 2nd half, some lovely touches.
Really liked the Nelson Smith-Rowe combos.
Clrnc I don't think Ramsdale concedes in either game if he plays too. Raya will probably play against Spurs and probably won't have such an easy game. Excited to see how he does.
Think how good we’ll be when Elneny returns
Tbh, Gabriel has also been back, Partey hasn't been at RB etc. It's not all just down to Raya. He's been good though. Done everything that's been asked of him. Think he should keep his place in the starting XI for now.
naz In a week against Brentford in the cup. Really happy with the result and the subs! Well done team and manager! 🤩

They’ll come on more in the league too when you have CL games midweek. Then the more they play the more confidence Arteta has to bring them on or start them. It will get better for them.
USArsenal you mean our toxic love affair... 😉
Thought Kai had a 7.5 or 8/10 game tbh.
Pepe LeFrits
That chance he had when he blew it over is a minus mark. Needs to start scoring these easy chances.
Very interesting who starts between him and Vieria on Sun. I may actually give it to the German because of his physicality which you need in a NLD. He can’t let us down though.
goon I hope so 😊 the season is long and the squad is needed!
I am in minority or even alone, but I thought Havertz was really poor again, so were both full backs. On a bright side we won the game comfortably and most of the subbed in players were really good.
swider he was poor. not sure what people saw in that performance other than more of the same
Kai really lack confidence. Nearing the end of the half he was open space and Jesus running through and he chose to pass back to Gabriel.
Then for the Odegaard goal he was actually through and outpacing the defender but he passed it back. Odegaard did score from long range but that was low confidence play
Clrnc IMO this is a poor excuse, all five subs looked much better and sharper than him, especially Vieira who (also) played out of position.
Clrnc
To be fair I thought the pass was the right play or at least a good option. ESR and Nelson were in space with a 2v1 against the defender, the former just over hit the pass/Nelson was on his toes.
Actually thought Kai was way more purposeful with his runs. Our guys need to look for him a bit more when he makes that dart in behind.
Clrnc Understandable I suppose but Kai's been around long enough to know that the only way to get over a difficult spell is to push through it. If he's going to play it safe then it'll take even longer before he starts scoring and assisting.
Will be interesting to see how Havertz presses on when he does eventually score.
I thought Smith Rowe did well. Probably the best I’ve seen him play stylistically. Wonder if Arteta is working his magic on him? He has to evolve to be at the level we require.

Bro you’re making it sound like ESR is some 18 year old making his second debut.
The guy is a fucking baller and was arguably a top 3 player for us the season before last.
Oh and it warms my soul to see how we’re becoming a team of giants. That soft underbelly might be gone ya know
P.s. stinky spurs have a soft underbelly lolz
lorddulaarsenal I think tonight hopefully acted as a bit of a marker ahead of Sunday,
"You wanna come at us? G' head, we'll fucking batter you!"
goon Our guys need to look for him a bit more when he makes that dart in behind.
Not if he's gonna continue to fluff his lines when he gets a sight of goal. Guy is the anti Trossard when ot comes to end product.
Big Willie patience. This was probably his second best game after the community Shield. He was better integrated than previous games. Jesus and Trossard for a few games will be good for him.
