Gazza M it's not the rule, it's the idiotic interpretation of the word "deliberate". He controlled it, poorly, and played it to the opposition. It's never offside.
They seem to think that he needs to trap the ball for it to be deliberate, but that's completely insane and could never reasonably be argued.
