Qwiss Not surprised. Mikel was complaining about squad depth the other day. I don’t think he necessarily means he doesn’t have players. Just that the availability of Tomi, Timber, Partey, Vieira limits his degrees of freedom. Problem is if healthy, all of those guys could be regular starters. .

We get to pay him and Cedric to stay at home until the summer when we will let them go for free and no doubt pay them some sort of loyalty bonus for finishing the contracts they had! Togheter they make 98.000 per week.

HomeSteak Cedric is not even break glass in case of emergency. It’s not like Nelson and Kiwior who are good enough to play when we are in injury crisis. The guy must be great at telling jokes or booking tables at the club.

Claudius Arteta had him training with Tierney, Pepe, etc away from the main squad in the summer. Now he's sitting on the bench with zero chance of coming on. Guys like a bad smell.

It's difficult to hate Cedric for not leaving when I'd do exactly the same thing in his situation. It's the club's fault for giving him the contract, not his for not being a better player.

QuincyAbeyie yeah. That first batch of folks Edu brought in is so mixed. Martinelli and Saliba are 2 transfer coups. Combined £35m. But we then did the corrupt Pepe deal, bought Mari, and loaned Cedric/Ceballos. The Pepe deal makes that summer a C at best.
