I still think he’s our best fullback, but his impact offensively is waning by the game.

Not sure he is yet to develop a partnership with any player(s). We saw that White helped get the best out of Saka, and now I’m worried that Timber may be limiting Saka.

Is there any arc where he becomes more like Sagna (a reserved fullback, who enables wingers to stay higher)?

Meatwad broadly agree but also Saka is asked to play like an auxiliary fullback. Timber's relative strength in defence should free up Saka more.

Artetas offensive tactics do my head in. How is he always deeper than 90% of our forwards when we're trying to win matches? No offense to the guy but I want Saka or Rice giving us an offensive outlet, not Timber.

He also stole good chances from other players in clutch moments. I love him but come on...

Get the feeling Arteta has decided both full backs should have some sort of magic "free role" when we're looking for a goal, or perhaps just one of them at a time. It'd explain Calafiori's positional roaming as well.

Not that he could not run anymore at the end, he was barley standing on his feet. And White is such a good player as well, yet Arteta just watches on, it's insane man, I simply cannot get him, even after so many years. In tense games I feel like he just freezes, his brain stops working

MistaT Agreed, unless White has some kind of physical problem there is no reason not to start him when Timber looks like he has literally been run into the ground. The same happened with White, completely ran him into the ground which caused all his injuries.

Someone should watch how Arteta is handling Timber, Rice and Zubi and write a study on how to break someone physically and mentally

tazmania people complain about why White, Odegaard, Saka and Havertz pick up recurring injuries these days. Same reason - Arteta ran them into the ground a few years back - Rice, Zubimendi and particularly Timber have that to look forward to
