daredevil The little minutes I saw from Rice there, I saw something, a few good moments with him and Martinelli, I feel he will score a few.

He will score at least as many as Xhaka did last season if he plays the #8 position for any length of time.

still the only one playing with cojones this season, along with the centre halves

Yeah, that's an unreal finish made to look easy. I don't think many other players are pouncing on that and whipping it first-time in to the far inside netting like that.

I don't think any of our strikers would take that chance which says a lot.

Been telling you guys for years. I don’t even think we’re seeing his best yet.

goon I don’t even think we’re seeing his best yet.

Would be nice if he wasn't the only player in the team capable of running.

Rice is a proper Invincibles era Arsenal player. Beast.

He's not at as good as Partey as 6, nor as good as Xhaka as an 8, yet somehow he feels more integral and a lynchpin.

He’s a huge personality and when the chips go down automatically plays better. He is like Tony Adams in midfield, can’t praise him high enough.

In the last 15 years if i could design one player in the lab he would have Rice’s mentality and physicality.

Looked Ng the part since he started playing with a bit more freedom. If we can get Partey back in he could start offering even more.

daredevil He's far better defensively than Partey as a 6 and I don't use that word lightly. His reading of the play is next level, the goal he scored against Chelsea comes from him reading the bad pass before Gallagher, who had been superb for Chelsea all game. Nobody is talking about his price tag any more either, shows how good he has been so far.

What we need though is to have an elite passer with him at 8, we can't be building around Partey due to how unreliable he is from an injury point of view. I do think though Rice has another level in him, I think towards the end of the season or next season he'll really hit another level.

I'm happy to talk about it. Basically if we're gonna spend £100m Rice is what we should spend it on. Far better value than a gamble at half the fee.

I really feel the goals will also come from him. Just a matter of time.
