I don't think any teams should be doing the double over us. Villa is bad in that sense, can't be denied. You'd think that the home game later in the season would be the problem, but I'm more annoyed by the away game. Like you say, it should've been a draw. I'm generally more accepting of losing to a top four team when its sandwiched between a CL quarter final against Bayern, home or away.
I mostly regret the Fulham and West Ham losses. I still believe that they were the result of Arteta's over-correction toward a safer passing game that did a real number on our attacking verve. We totally lost confidence in front of goal as a team. It may have been an important developmental phase in the long run, but it went too far and we couldn't keep grinding out the results over the busy Christmas period.
