Clrnc again, your analysis is incomplete. It doesn’t take into account project stage. Go look at Liverpool minutes at similar stages of development. It’s the exact same thing. I use Liverpool because they are a title challenging team that had to do a rebuild without oil money. That’s us. All the other teams you’re looking at are extremely bad comparisons. City cheated. And clubs lower down the table don’t have to chase 90 points.
What you see with Liverpool over time, is their starters minutes reduce as more quality comes into the club. But this is what their 2019 team was doing.
Ideally, we have a bigger team of superstars already. But we can’t magic a team overnight.
