I don't know whether this is a positive or a negative. When people ascribe a specific style to Arteta, I scratch my head because if anything he has too many different tactics to pin him down. At the very least, it satiates the need for Plan B crowd, but I wonder if this is to his detriment.
The best managers are usually married to one style and will defend it to the grave. I wonder if it's because it's still early in his career and he hasn't won anything to go all in. The FA Cup coming too early to dictate things.
