I'd just be happy if he was fit by pre-season. First reports after the injury said he might not make the start of next season. Be a big boost if he gets a full pre-season to work back from that injury.

Since when do players get faster mid career. What are we talking about here? Maybe a bit more strength and endurance. Lean is where most athletes want to be, and Kai was already Lean AF. Hopefully he's not going down the Odegaard route, as whatever Capitan did during his recovery made him look gaunt and didn't help his footballing form at all.

Arteta was careful to say acceleration which makes sense as that can be worked on through training rather than sheer pace.

Also 25-27 is overall physical peak fitness so story checks out.

Our beast is back. If we can get Havertz, White, Saka, Odegaard abs Gabriel back in shape for August, that will make a massive difference for next season. Add the two forwards and Zubi with no significant departures, and we will be very ready for a 90 point tilt
