Lukazan I thought exactly the same when I watched it. He's actually getting a pretty good connection most of the time.

Claudius Edu was better than RVP. Man could score from any situation. Best finishers we've had in the modern era are Edu and Wrighty.

To throw a name in the mix, Arshavin is a good shout. Didn't end well for teams that let him get a shot away in and around the box. People talk about his goals vs Liverpool in that crazy 4-4 but what about the winner he scored away against them in the same fixture the following season? One of my favorite goals and I've still no idea how exactly he did it - the touch and shot seemed to happen too close together for it to have been possible.

I forgot how productive he was even when he became lazy for us. 31 goals 43 assists in 143 matches. That's some numbers. Finished 6th in ballon dor the year he joined us too. Did this really happen? Russia went out in the group stage and Iniesta won with Spain, getting MotM in the final and Player of the Tournament.

Arshavin did play well in Euro 2008, which was the tournament most people started noticing him.

Clrnc something about these midget players. Low center of gravity, quick feet and some kaboom in their strikes. I was watching highlights of Alexis Sanchez as well a couple of days ago. Shame we don't have his type in the team today. Imagine Odegaard Havertz, Saka (to a lesser degree) and Sanchez pressing your back line. We would be scoring an at least a goal a game due to forced turnovers and counters in the opponents half.
