daredevil maybe it's more about having that option. When we're not clicking and the players are doing their goal-shy thang, having someone who can create their own chances and/or be lethal in front of goal is a useful option to have.

Well-rounded and intelligent player with athleticism and stature. He does a lot of stuff that coaches love but many casual spectators don't notice. The only thing he lacks in any notable way is composure in front of goal. If he had, say, Freddie's calmness and variety of finishing, we'd have a world class player.

Another superb performance as CF, bullied their defenders in that first half.

Glad he has come good, too many of our own fans turned on him early on due to his price tag and coming from Chelsea. He has really proven in recent weeks what a key member he is to this squad.

He gives us running power and physicality that Jesus always seems like he's having to try 10x harder to replicate, and probably ends up getting physically beat up as a result, hence the consistent injuries.

Havertz was a little off in a couple of key moments, but walked away with a goal and assist. Started the game exceptionally well and put the pressure on them.

People criticised Arteta for signing a half-way solution, rather than an outright 8 or 9, but his versatility has really come up trumps this season given the injuries we've had.

banduan it was a perfect run from him too. If he could actually start scoring those easy chances he'd end the debate on where and whether he should start.

I'd keep starting him at CF though. He's giving us something Jesus doesn't and he's far more suited to it than CM.

daredevil Arteta likes versatile players. This guy was tailor made for him. There isn’t a single important Arsenal player who is one dimensional right now. They’re all very flexible. And when we become less positional rigid, we are a nightmare to play against because anyone can appear anywhere.

He's always gonna have his sloppy donkey moments and I won't believe for a second he's scoring any chance (that involves him having any time time to think and decide what he's going to do).. until he does, but it's undeniable he's affecting games in a positive way. Sometimes he plays it very basic and simple and it's infuriating, but at the same time it's often exactly what we need. He brings other players in to the game in dangerous areas that can then do the damage i.e Ødegaard, Martinelli etc.

At the start of his Arsenal career he didn't even dare to turn his man. Now he is having fun and loving football

He's really getting better each game. Still too much clumsiness in front of goal but his last two goals were smooth, confident finishes.

When he's CF and Rice is 8, we have an incredible press between them two, Ødegaard, Martinelli, and Saka.

Yep teams can’t cope with it. As good as Jorginho was yesterday I think we need Partey in there instead when facing Porto again.
