Postecoglou is a good manager, but in my opinion three things are clouding people's judgement at present.
The first is that Conte was actually shit last season, and failed to make any decent use of talents like Bissouma as well as choosing a cowardly, negative tactical path before carrying out a final sabotage of their chances of top four.
The second is that Spuds are currently overperforming and will return towards the mean over time. They have banked a superb start to the season which is likely to get them top four.
The third is that we're actually doing very nearly as well, but for us that's now our baseline.
