If you look at where teams are picking up their points, almost all Uniteds points have come against lower teams in poor form. Spurs have played the 3 promoted teams already but also got decent results against us and Liverpool but I think generally they've been quite lucky. Newcastle are lagging behind but have had the toughest fixtures, that said they haven't won the tough games so they wont push for the title. Liverpool have had a tough enough run and have done quiet well and were absolutely screwed by the ref against Spurs, they look strong to me but they're still so heavily reliant on Salah I think it could cost them when the African Nations comes round (that'll also hurt Spurs a lot). City are City but losing 3 games in a row (including the League Cup) shows they are perhaps a little weaker, DeBruynes age is catching up with him and he's integral to them, Rodri is big for them but another red card and he'll miss 4 more games, thats a tightrope for the rest of the season. Now Halaand is a little off form too, you'd expect he'll click again this season.
Then there is us. If we can keep our centre halves and our front 3 fit for most of the season I think we'll be right up there. If we add to the attack in January even better.
