People talking as if the players view rivalries the way fans do...
RowJimmy True. Surely the players want to get into the CL.
Coombs it is. Surely the bigger concern is that even a full strength, fully motivated Spurs are still underdogs vs City. The only crumb of hope is that Spurs away seems to be a bogey fixture for City in recent years.
More likely for West Ham to halt City on the last day than Spurs doing anything.
Spuds has lost more matches than they won in the past 3 months. I think even if they tried it will be a huge ask for them to win against the robots.
They barely scrapped past burnley
Clrnc Don't call them robots, it's not fair. The correct term is cheaters.
Wake up. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg plays football today
Ideal scenario is Spuds tank their last home game of the season to spite us and then Antonio bags a hattrick at the Etihad to give his favourite team the trophy.
One can dream.
Spurs are just nowhere near good enough to get a result against City. It's not about are they going to deliberately lose, they will lose because they are far too open and not good enough to actually threaten a team like City.
awooga83 It's football. They can get a draw at home, easy. And they will, in fact, they will win, 2-0
Who’s up for some Heung Min Son daggers to City’s title challenge?
lorddulaarsenal he always scores against them innit.
Hasn't looked the same player since coming back from Asian Cup though
Personally I think City are going to smash spurs today, if we can score 3 past them in 45 mins whilst not being at our best then who knows how many they'll ship against city.
Hoping West Ham will want to give Moyes a worthy send off in the last game.
IBL Moyes said that he feels they cannot stop the Man City Under 14 on the last day with the title on the table so yeah. This is it in terms of City loosing points. I have a friend that is a degenerate gambler and he is very much backing a draw tonight. Also made some bets that Spurs will score between 1 and 3 goals.
IBL yes but that match also illustrated how Spurs can be such jammy fecks. Their goal if not ruled out would've been some luck and nobody expected Raya to basically hand them the ball.
IBL I'd actually find them smashing Spurs reasonably easy to take, it'd be funny for one thing - as it is, I wonder whether a tight 1 or 2 goal game might happen instead. It doesn't seem likely because, Spurs, but just a feeling I have.

Realistically they're both gonna get smashed, disappointing but is what it is. After the Villa game I think I came to terms that we wouldn't win the title and I have no confidence in either of Spurs or West Ham. You can bet either set of fans ain't gonna lose no sleep over it either!
Interestingly, Opta give us a 42% chance of winning the league, the highest it's been this season...

goon That'll be due to City's Spurs hoodoo. Demonstrates the silliness of their system to me.
goon
Basically tonight is the title decider
