Burnwinter This. If we win out, that would give us 89 points. In a regular season, that would be enough points to win the league. We have stayed in the title fight and are pushing City to almost the last game (and possibly the last day). We have actually held our nerve so far, and there are only 3 games left. Its a marked improvement from last year. We have shown that we can win the big games.
Most of us, at the beginning of the season, would have said QF's in the CL, and a serious title push would represent a pretty good season, and we have accomplished that so far. We still have a chance for the league if City drop points in their next 4 games. Bournemouth will be tricky, but we're home. United away is the banana peel. Everton at home, on the last day of the season is a game I would expect (hope?) us to trounce them, as they have nothing left to play for since they beat the drop already.
Even what we have done already, i am proud of the team. We had 2 bad results with Villa and Bayern and last year, we would've just sat down, but we've won 3 games on the trot since then, including away at Spuds (which all of us figured would be our hardest game) and trouncing Chelsea.
