Burnwinter Trust is the thing. I love Smith Rowe. He reminds me of Rosicky (oh the irony!) in his ability to inject a bit of pace and directness in the game, and Rosicky was my favourite player of that era.
But there comes a point where talent isn't worth waiting for, because if ultimately means nothing if it can't be put to use. And that's not just the injury itself. The requirement for long and slow reintroductions to the team are also problematic. I'm not saying we should rush him, it's just far from ideal that even when he's 'available', he's not really and his contributions don't/can't amount to much worth for the team.
He's 24 in a few months. I fear we're going to end up with a player in his mid-20s that's way off his potential and has fallen out of favour.
