Also while I think Curtis Jones deserved to be sent off - it was extremely wrong that VAR showed the referee a frozen image of the tackle first when he ran over to the screen. It implicitly forces the ref to make a decision.
It's shocking that there isn't a protocol in place to show the replays along the lines of (i) at normal speed (ii) at normal speed from an alternative angle (iii) slowed down (iv) freeze frame
Quincy is right - the wrong sort of people are involved in this. You don't need experience of being a match day referee to run VAR. Particularly if the match day officials can overrule VAR (in theory)
