Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert Like Quincy says I think the point he is trying to make is even if Spurs play well Man City have the ability to blow them out of the water. IF that happened some would question his and the clubs integrity as there would no doubt be rumours forever that they threw the game.

goon Actually showed good tactical flexibility against Man City, changed up midfield and front three to make themselves more compact. They probably played good enough for a draw that day.

Mirth JazzG what 12 months at Spurs does to a man

He's realising now what a shit show he has taken on.

Joke of a club.

Clrnc fucking great news. I'd have had them favourites for 4th next season. Not now. Boelhy is the ETH of owners.

Hahaha they nerfed themselves just as I thought they were turning a corner

Bet they appoint Southgate

Unfortunately good decision for them, Poch is a serial loser and would have ultimately got sacked sooner or later at some point next season.

Don’t be fooled by their end of season form, looked better than it is when they played with non pressure and most of their opponents were on the beach.

Yeah I had them down for 4th next season too! Their xg differential was 4th so thought that was a good indicator and he seemed to finally start getting to grips with the team. Ah wells 😂😂

Lolz, good luck progressing Chelsea. Hopefully, they bring in a new manager who wants to bring in his own players and complete disrupts the current setup.

Wonder if Bayern will go in for Poch?

Wonder if De Zerbi goes to Chelsea...?

De Zerbi is free. Maybe they go after his defense free football. Crazy business this.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 Don’t be fooled by their end of season form, looked better than it is when they played with non pressure and most of their opponents were on the beach.

Their late season form was the return to normal. Their underlying stats were there all season.

This guy speaks so well. What a manager. Whatever he said to them is also relevant to us to some extent.

It's quite funny that Liverpool farewell livestream had over 200k views at that time and City livestream of them winning the trophy and celebrations had less than 20k.

Clrnc Suffering from FFP and now you spend a good chunk of your budget paying a manager and his entire backroom staff off. Brilliant

Chelsea are remarkably consistent. They haven't had a manager last longer than 2 years since Mourinho left in 2007. Most don't even stay a year.

Clrnc Still think if we had gotten rid of Wenger one year earlier when he was available he would have come here and we would have won stuff.

FEBravo yeah, felt the same thing at the time. That being Liverpool were set up for success when Klopp came in. We weren't when Wenger, so Klopp may have struggled to make things work.

Don Pacifico Spot on. People think it is just down to the manager to turn the club around. Our recent success has been spearheaded by Arteta but people like Edu and others behind the scene have played a massive role behind our turnaround. Many of Wenger's failures were down to having a broken relationship with the likes of Gazidis, maybe we would have done a lot better if we had replaced Dein with someone who worked better with Wenger.

Just like Liverpool's success isn't just down to Klopp, Michael Edwards played a massive role in turning that club around with Klopp.

JazzG Klopp would have brought in people to change the whole structure like he did at Dortmund and Liverpool. The whole club would have rallied around him, he is those type of character.

Clrnc I'm not so sure how much he could have changed. During that time there was a power struggle between Kroenke & Usmanov and it felt like the Kroenkes were more than happy to let things get bad in order to force Usmanov out.

we didn't need a cash infusion back then, we needed wenger to spend the damn money (and on actually good players). klopp definitely would have won similar things with arsenal if we had put arsene out to pasture.

the kroenke's had to put in money recently because of covid and no champions league revenue. once we get back on track financially normal service will resume.

Clrnc Suffering from FFP and now you spend a good chunk of your budget paying a manager and his entire backroom staff off.

The bit that's hard to believe is how much they've pissed off their young stars with this move. Palmer, Jackson etc are basically all they've got as a club.

Pepe LeFrits Chelsea are remarkably consistent. They haven't had a manager last longer than 2 years since Mourinho left in 2007. Most don't even stay a year.

                It's in their DNA now

Tuchel to United mooted ... the dream. We'd get to enjoy ten Hag eating shit again in public before probably moving on to a better run club within weeks, then a period of improved results prior to a guaranteed multi-party dummy spit.

Paquetá denies wrongdoing and any knowledge of the suspicious bets, which have been traced to Paquetá Island, off the coast of Rio de Janiero.

If he didn't want to get caught, he might have avoided having his partners make their bets from an island named after him. 😆

That's actually good news for us, he looked headed for City and would have helped them out a lot.

CPM that means they can go for whatever CM we want instead.

                  • CPM replied to this.

CPM Terrible news for West Ham, bet that wiped the smile off Lopetegui's face and made Moyes' furlough piña coladas taste a little sweeter … instead of raking in £50m+ they'll be chaperoning a Tonali-style situation for a season or something.

In my mind's eye "Paquetá Island" is a place a bit like Tortuga from PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, but with a gigantic boardwalk sports bar where all Paquetá's deadbeat Brazilian pirate mates sit around getting trashed and placing bets on his disciplinary issues. 😆

                    Southampton promoted to PL

I think we're better equipped now to smash them at their place rather than succumb to a limp loss.

I know it’s their 4th consecutive league title but that’s still a travesty.

Didn't realise Manchester had gone back into lockdown.....

The way Leicester collapsed from a huge points lead and almost gave away automatic promotion tells me I should be happy with this appointment.

I would be worried if they appointed Mckenna instead
