          Clrnc It's a selection ruled by two mentalities: foremost is the "authoritarian personality", the people who vote for Saliba, Gabriel, Haaland and City's midfield bores, because they value metronomic supremacy above all else; and the rebels who'll vote for Cole Palmer because they have a short attention span and don't feel threatened by a bright young thing playing in a shit team who seems like he might fancy a beer on weekends.

          Not as much room in the mix for voting in the league's greatest football artist who also happens to play for a very dominant club.
