The way Leicester collapsed from a huge points lead and almost gave away automatic promotion tells me I should be happy with this appointment.

I would be worried if they appointed Mckenna instead

Very quirky leadership at Chelsea. It's this combination of demanding to be seen as ultra-rational, progressive and innovative while actually being megalomaniacal and madder than a cut snake that's funny. In the old days the madmen were happy enough to be thought of as such.

    INEOS are showing signs too.

Clrnc I still think going from Ipswich to the high stakes car crash that is Chelsea would be a step too far for McKenna. Ditto for going to Man U. Brighton is a more feasible step up for him.

Clrnc is he? Seems just as likely to get sacked mid-season and fade into obscurity as anything. Stock may never be higher.

          Coombs

Highly unlikely they’ll sack him, and anything above 18th and his stock probably goes up.

I have seen more people at bus stops than this

All this talk about Mckenna and Ipswich Town welas going in one ear and oit the other for me. But your comment made me wonder why he's being chased by all these clubs if he's in the Championship/League 1 whilst managing a team that is ok with finishing 18th. Found it strange so I googled the team.

Wow, they're back in the PL? They disappeared for so long into the lower leagues since they broke through with Darren Bent, Matt Holland and Marcus Stewart. I actually liked them back then unlike those cloggers in Bolton and Blackburn.

              Big Willie

Yeah, he got them successive promotions, hence why he’s so highly rated. No mean feat in the Championship with much better funded rivals.

Probably a reason why they’ll struggle badly next year though.

I was looking at the League Two table the other day and got a hit of nostalgia seeing the likes of Derby, Charlton, Portsmouth and Wigan. There were 3 or 4 other former PL sides in there too.

goon Why would this even make sense? Is Vieira the same as Arteta as a manager?

Coombs probably just as likely to happen at Brighton. They are not in a good place at the moment. Probably have a few of their best players poached this summer too. I think he's better off sticking with the job he's got.

goon These guys said the same when they hired Poch.

Funny how the fans take the piss out of Arteta for not winning the title yet their club are looking for another version of him.

Criminal how underrated Rice and Odegaard is amongst the fans

Nice to see Gabriel and White finally getting the recognition they deserve outside of Arsenal fan base
