I kid, actually in theory this isn’t a big match as the title has been effectively lost. If City drop points today it’s a different story but that is unlikely.

Regardless, if we have anything about us we need to thump them by 4, 5, 6 goals. We need to send a message out that even though we may have lost the title we still are a good team and will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

We should be like a wounded animal and take out all the frustrations of the last 4 games on them. Will we? That’s a different story.

In terms of line ups, I would drop Jesus and play Trossard, freshen things up a little.

Chelsea are going through a torrid with Lampard as the figurehead. Arteta record v Lampard is played 5- lost 1, draw 1, won 3 (all of these being the last 3 times).

Injuries to James, Mount and Cucurella will hurt them.

Then we have the Auba factor, I will certainly boo him if he steps one foot on to that pitch. Nothing personal.

Let’s get back to winning ways and end the season strong.

Whatever has happened has happened. It is important now that we try to finish the season as strongly as possible. The chances of City dropping points are next to none but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to finish as close to them as possible. After all the good we have done this season we need to make sure we don't finish on a whimper.

Despite Chelsea's form this won't be an easy game, need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and start showing people why we are in the position we are.

Feel like we could tank this too if the players feel like they're "still in the race". We seem to be playing to make second place a certainty at the moment. There will be a rebound once the pressure's off.

I always feel like the players reflect the fans' emotions quite well, if that makes sense?

Most fans are in end of season mode so I don't think pressure will play it's part. It's more about whether or not they can lift themselves to get excited about this game or if they're thinking about their holidays. Given that we're still technically in a shot of the title, the latter will be criminal for the players.

Nah at this stage we're still processing almost entirely dropping out of the title race, that's certain. The response will be interesting.

Trossard and Jesus should play together and I'm happy for Xhaka to take a backseat.

Goon made a good point recently and it's something that I picked on as well, but it seems wrong to be chasing a goal and not be ending the game with Odegaard and Jesus on the pitch.

First time this season I've not really cared about a game. I'll still watch, but feel very flat about it all.

I want to see a strong and determined finish to the end of the season to see if there is still a spark in the players. Realistically I'm not expecting a title push, but I think it will be important for the team (and individual) development to have a positive response and keep standards high to the end.

That will inevitably give more fuel for the view that we've faltered because of mentality or pressure, but so be it. Despite the wide range of differences here I'd be surprised if we didn't all think it was some combination of pressure, fatigue and lack of rotation. The mentality/pressure point is largely a media pushed slant, so I don't care too much for that.

It always feels this way to me when the title is finished. I can barely remember any game in the ending stages of a season when it didn't matter already.

Watching these, it's insane how little I remember of many of these goals' match and how it ended. Matches vs Chelsea has been pretty meaningless since last century. Oil money really made it so plastic and there was a period they just won against us for fun everytime we played them making it so forgettable.

I think since 07/08 stamford bridge battle where Essien scored a last min screamer or something the rest has paled in comparison. The years Wenger vs Mourinho when we had Henry and they had Robben was fun. Truly nail biting.
