Id take a draw rather than risk a loss. Feel like being the chasing team might be of benefit for us right now performance wise.. Obviously will need City to drop more points than us but it just one point difference.. Lose and its completely gone.

Clrnc Maybe, but to say it with such certainty sounds absurd to me. I don't see a huge difference in difficulty and that's without factoring in the impact of the Madrid ties.

Burnwinter I mentioned that St James is our hardest fixture left for good reason. Because we can't deal with high press, they are the best in the league for that and our performance there last season still scares me.

I've been watching us at home alone for most of the season. Usually don't risk going out with friends and being in a bad mood for the rest of the night in case we lost. Even tonight some mates from my whatsapp group chat (all Arsenal fans btw) are planning to go out to watch the game. Can't do it though.

Clrnc All I'm saying is it's just Newcastle, they're improving but they're not the finished article any more than us anyway. The players can't be taking that defeatist mentality up to opposition that are still a year or two behind us.

Clrnc i don't really agree. Not that I think we will beat Newcastle, it's just that our record away at City is just tragic. It's abnormal, shocking, whatever you want to call it. With Arteta we played there 4 games, lost all, 10-0. I don't even want to look at the rest

Clrnc don't think it's even close. You'd never find a single bookie who give us a better chance at winning today than against Newcastle. Even in their last 10 matches 'resurgence' they're 6th on xG difference.
