I can see a few familiar scenarios unfold in this game:

1) We make an early mistake which City will score from.
2) We get screwed by the ref in one or two key instances. Very possibly we get a red card and/or a pen against us.
3) Holding vs Haaland is inevitably going to screw us.
4) One or two of our key players get injured and the rhythm of the team gets disrupted.

All in all I just can't see a good outcome for us. Maybe if all the planets align, we can get something from this game but we'll end up with a similar scoreline to the game at the Emirates.

Good news is that expectations are low so should help emotionally - will still suck though.

Knowing these cunts, we'll probably play a good first half, be in the game, and start getting hopeful. Then Haaland will score around 55 minutes and the floodgates will open. It will end 1-3 as we may grab a consolation.

But I'll still be watching, hoping, and suffering.

FEBravo That's what I think will happen but I think City's goal will come in the first half and heads will drop massively.

However, last day or two I've been starting to get this small feeling we might do the unthinkable and get the win tonight.. however, I'm not sure we win the league as a result, which would only serve to make the last 3 games even more unforgivable/painful. think Newcastle away is gonna be killer.

Even in the media stuff Arteta has talked about Arsenal having to be perfect and flawless to have any chance against city. I'm not sure how helpful that idea is as a team that they are these supermen who we can't afford any misstep or we are done because in any game but certainly against a team like city you are going to have some moments like that.

Pep seems to be projecting a far more it's a big game but just like the season one of many.

I just don't feel we have the mentality to get through this type is match, we look broken and incredibly nervous and the way we have been defending it's more representative of a lower table team right now.
