Is this handball that’s being mentioned Rice’s from Partey’s mistake? From the angle on the Arsenalist link above I’m not seeing a handball at all. His arm is moving in a downward motion and his torso is moving forward, and the ball clearly bounces forward from wherever it makes contact. If it was the arm/hand, then it would have moved down.

Maybe there’s another angle that shows it better that I haven’t seen, but it’s definitely not a handball on that link

And that 6 role is not the place for a high risk player. Arteta has done a phenomenal job of helping Partey to become more efficient in his passing, but he still has too many giveaways and his passing accuracy is not where it should be to be considered perfect for the role.

Rodri may be less flashy and less dynamic, but he is more reliable and has better awareness. We should try to find a clone of him in the summer.

There is a clear view of it from the reverse angle that shows the guy used his forearm, elbow and up to shirt cutoff point to squeeze the ball back into his body.
