The subs was mind boggling to say the least. Kiwior isn't ready, obviously to anyone sane given he barely played in the league and then got thrown into the dead end at Anfield of all grounds. He immediately created the Nunez chance which Ramsdale saved well. He also contributed to us giving up the pitch totally as we have no midfield now and just focused on defending.
The xG won't show but we fucked up so many counter attacking chance its unbelievable. From my end (since Arsenal was attacking here) we had so much space and time to score the 3rd goal from what felt like 5 or 6 good breaks but kept fucking up the final pass. Gabriel had a superb chance from a corner too. It was criminal how many open space we fucked up.
Saka is clearly still not 100%. He was struggling to get up and down the pitch and last 20 mins everytime Liverpool countered he gave up chasing. Struggling with the pace of the match.
Zinchenko and White was criminal for their equaliser. Felt in real time it was too easy for Firmino to score, saw the replays and was disappointed by our lack of effort to defend. So late in the game too, again at Anfield.
Anfield is a pretty good ground for a game of football, very good seats and clear view, close to the pitch. Atmosphere wasn't what I envisaged, thought it would be brilliant but nowhere close to Celtic Park yesterday where I was at. For most part it was mostly home crowd being silent and 2nd half was just barrage of abuse for our players. They didn't get much chants going.
Our away fans on the other hand was fantastic. Probably the best in the country. Drowned the home crowd out mostly till the last half an hour where they were probably busy biting nails like me.
