Two sides to that coin though. I’d like us to evolve beyond that because the best way to kill off games is by scoring more and you could easily argue those tactics kill our rhythm rather than the opposition.
goon There is value in just killing the rhythm of a game. The referees are rubbish. They have no ability to punish that. So you just end up with nothing useful happening. The ball is out of play, and the chasing team isn’t able to build up a head of steam. Of the top teams, City do this well. They are a great dark arts team.

Disagree. City and Liverpool at their best drew fouls to frustrate but quickly get up and keep the ball moving. They kill games with 1000 passes not through time wasting. I reckon what we do actually leads us to not being able to keep the ball.
goon City trying to do 1000 pass saw them concede late on against Nottm Forest. No thanks I rather get the 3 points.
Dark arts is the name of the game.
Gunner89 So much time was wasted in the 2nd half.
I really don't think it was that bad. At one point we were even blown up for taking a free kick too quickly. We aren't nearly as bad as the worst offenders. Xhaka and Jorginho were probably just tired because they're old and busted.
This would have been a superb goal.
goon They didn't even draw a line on the VAR check. It looked offside without it, but still.

I agree. Good to have that guile and experience.
Fergie/Mourinho come to mind
Fuck me what a sight for Arsenal fans, not that long ago I bet half of those players wouldn't have bothered getting back.
JazzG More like he is inept. At 7 seconds a better player would have put his teammate through
Saka has got the wide player covered, I think Saliba would probably have the bottom right guy covered.
There is no clear pass on imo.
Gurgen They didn't even draw a line on the VAR check. It looked offside without it, but still.
they shouldn't need the lines. Just like that Ivan Toney offside goal did not need lines, just needed someone checking it, was clear as day once reviewed.
Lol. It's all a scam. Where do they draw these lines from? Does anyone really even know? As long as it involves a human, it is corruptible. In my opinion they should just go the fifa route. Let the computer determine everything and let's all move on. Much faster, much less controversy.
And how about we let foreign officials into the league?
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert after that aussie ref, no thanks
That's a very weird reason if you're not joking. 😂
What they said was happening: refs try hard but sometimes make mistakes, with the help of technology they'll improve.
What has actually happened: refs have always been corrupt and incompetent, but with the help of technology we've now proven it.
