They wanted to pick up a huge loan fee, with no obligation with the intention of raking it in this summer.
Now they will be lucky to get above £60mil for him. That would be my limit. Felix is a fantastic talent who I would buy, only after we get in our priorities: namely sorting out the midfield, and defence.
He still doesn’t have a defined position, and needs a lot of work, but his skill set is still tempting.
Just nowhere near as tempting as Atletico hoped, in part thanks to that ridiculous loan.
