Don't want Gundogan. He's a great player but too old and we already have Xhaka, Jorginho and Partey. We need to lower the age profile of our midfield, not raise it.
Qwiss
Yeah. He's class but we need to avoid falling into the trap of becoming dependant on older players. Train up Vieira and/or ESR instead and spend some serious money on starters in their prime.
No more Chelsea or City rejects.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert only City reject I'd take this summer is Cancello.
Majority of players we are being linked to are 25 and under, when you do most of your business in that age bracket imo you can afford to have one or two on the older side. Short contracts though.
He's super underrated. Class player but too old now
Qwiss 29, high wages, big downturn in the PL, turfed out mid season by Pep... those are all red flags for me now matter how good he was.
He's 28 till he's 29.
Still I do think he'd be worth it. He always been head and shoulders better than Zinchenko and his falling out with Pep seems to be personal so I'm not sure I'd blame him for that. Arteta knows him anyway, if he goes and gets him you'd know his attitude is ok.
Think he'd cost too much.
Yep, City wants crazy money for him. And Tuchel isn't playing him regularly for Bayern too. Weird
Tbf they probably won't be as happy to sell to us now either.
Swap deal Tierney Cancelo being touted.
Yep do it
lorddulaarsenal why would City want Tierney??
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert not sure why but the links are there
Tierney will go to Newcastle. Just hope we get good money because he is a darn good player
Linked to Lautaro - would prefer a more physical striker but he sure has a spikey winning attitude and serious talent
lorddulaarsenal feel he'd be like another Lacazette here.
Still tracking Tapsoba according to Romano
Pepe LeFrits he’d be an excellent signing. Big bloke, nimble on the ball.
Pepe LeFrits That's interesting. Seems we are determined to sign another CB, Simakan or Tapsoba.
We will probably lineup like Pep soon, 4 CBs in the backline, White playing the Stones role.
