I remember people in here saying similar things about Zinchenko vs. Tierney earlier this season.

We just need a cm who can come in and keep the ball moving and take up some decent positions on the pitch whenever Partey is out. That's it. The rest of the team can adjust and cover for his weaknesses (to some extent).

Kel Varnsen this is fine as long as doesn’t tie us down. The summer is so much more flexible for deal making, so I am confident we will get some good deals there. It’s easy to say we should get this or that deal done, but January is a bad time to get key players.

Wonder if PSG would agree to a loan deal for Renato Sanches? Didn't make it at Bayern but thought he was impressive for Portugal in the last Euro., especially against France. He's versatile and can play in a variety of positions in midfield. Haven't watched him at club level for quite some though, so he may not be of the required standard.

I'd be up for Jorginho. Partey backup that can come in and instantly do the job to a good level. As long as it isn't a really long contract.. Free up funds for the summer
