Looks like Partey is OK so presumably it'll be the usual team. Looking forward to seeing more of Trossard.
Dyche will no doubt tell them to be aggressive and sit back but I'm not sure it will be of much use. They have zero goal threat too.
goon I'm not sure I agree. Set up in the right way, they can definitely get goals it's just they've not had a proper manager in a while.
We saw against Newcastle (albeit the best defence in the league) that we can be stopped so a little wary of Dyche and the proverbial new manager bounce.
Make it a new manager thud please thanks.
Don Pacifico I'm not sure I agree. Set up in the right way, they can definitely get goals it's just they've not had a proper manager in a while.
What’s this based on? They’ve been one of the worst attacking sides in the league since the Ancheloti days (inclusive) and they’ve gotten significantly worse.
The team has no goals and even less creativity.
Arteta always beat Dyche even when we are at our worst.
We will win comfortably
Clrnc at the same time, we've lost 3 out of our last 4 against Everton, our only win coming towards the end of last season. We need to take this seriously.
goon Maybe I'm overrating some of their players but I think there's ability in the likes of Gordon, DCL & Gray. They've had a run of duff managers since Ancelotti. If they can get someone who knows how to utilise their players properly, I think they can be significantly better than what they're currently showing.
Don Pacifico Gordon has gone to Newcastle.
Don Pacifico they could probably be harder to beat and more organised.
Not sure about those forward players though, I never really liked DCL at his best never mind now. Gray as well is pretty easy to stop for most PL sides despite the odd wonder goal.
Last four league games at Goodison:
Everton 1-0 Arsenal Everton 0-0 Arsenal Everton 2-1 Arsenal Everton 2-1 Arsenal
Need to put this right in a big way.
That’s all pre Jorginho though Peps
Just realised we play a day before City.
We win this and City go to WHL 8 points behind us.
The new manager bounce stuff will play a part here, you just know Dyche will get his players to show 'passion' and 'commitment', in other words try to give us a good kicking. Need our lot to stay strong during the early storm and try to get an early goal or two. We are obviously the better team but the old thuggish tactics are a great leveler.
So typical the managerial change happens in time for this game.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert
It evens out over a season.
We played Bournemouth just before Scott Parker was sacked.
If we want to be champions we shouldn’t have to worry about bloody ‘new manager bounce’.
Lads, we’re the best team in the league. You’ve got to relish the challenge.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 true. I'm just wary of Dyche football plus that rowdy shithole Goodison where we rarely get a good result.
Gonna be raucous unless we quieten the crowd early.
I think we'll score 3 or 4. Maybe give up 1.
Unchanged starting lineup please. New guys plus fullbacks in 2nd half.
