IBL not me. I mentioned we hardly ever win here over the last 5 or so years. Just the one from the game towards the end of last season.
Should have been a cakewalk , we didn't turn up. They did.
GooneriC Think poor tactics are contributing to this too. Still time.
All the hype got in players head. Good lesson that hopefully they learn
FEBravo Agree - the best thing we can take from today is that it reminds the players how well they need to play in EVERY game.
Bad day at the office. Let's hope it's not the start of a February slump...
A point here would be okay as this is pretty much our game in hand
There hasn't been any lack of fight from us.
Onana is such a retarded footballer. How were there even Arsenal links to him?
IBL I didn't. Zero points here, Anfield and City over the last 2 seasons is why I'm not rushing to crown us champions just yet.
RocktheCasbah I think it's much more then that as well, it's not a simple task to "bank" all the outcomes from the first part of the season. There are so many games still to go and we have not demonstrated that we can do that over a season so it's why I don't feel you could consider us seriously until you look at the 28 game mark
We've lost so many physical battles today.
Pepe LeFrits said it as soon as I saw their lineup. they went for galutes and gallopers everywhere. if we took the lead they would've been fucked, but we basically didn't execute anything properly today. hopefully the exception rather than the rule moving forward
Also, you have to give Everton credit (I know, I don't want to either) but they've nailed their game plan, run their bollocks off, suffocated us and grabbed a goal off a set piece. Exactly what that ginger fuck would have wanted.
But it happens.
RocktheCasbah
Definitely. This would have been an extremely hard game for any team in this League today.
It's tough to swallow, but it's all about the response.
IBL yeah I think the whole 2nd half is the season is a challenge you can't project that we will replicate the very good first half. Arsenal recently have not managed to put that whole season consistent level of performance so it's never going to be a done deal we could drop points against any of the teams we have to come. I don't think it'll be the head to head that's the decider I think if we do fall short we just won't have been able to match the level we set and will drop points in these sorts of games.
There is still 18 games and that was just too many in my view to fancy us if we got to the 28-30 game mark still here then maybe.
why are we having routines for a guy who couldn't score in a brothel? then again i guess that's why he was free.
Nicolas Jover, if that's the set-piece guy's name, needs to come up with some new ideas because we've been much less threatening when attacking and less assured when defending.
Zinchenko is a fool
We dont fucking win anything by fighting when the game is so close to its end.
ffs. maupays bitchass back at it again. why do we keep biting
