Clrnc I'm just saying their chances of Europa aren't nailed on right right now, as Liverpool & Chelsea get their injured players back they'll be pushing to try get back into Top 4. Brighton are however playing great football right and if they keep that up all season definitely a chance for them to get into Europa.

It's a tricky situation. We should just overpay and get it done. Hardly anyone talks about how expensive our players are bought now that we are in good form and good position.

In a few years time, 80-90m will be bargains.

Part of the calculus has to be maintaining a reputation to the young, in-demand players they persuade to sign that they're not only a great environment to showcase their talent, but also that they will play fair when the player has a chance to make a huge step up.

Obviously, this is mid-season for them, but it's not like they can't go out and get a midfielder that can do a job for them for the rest of the season. If a club offers you £65m for a player you paid peanuts for and the he's doing everything in his power to make it happen, then the right decision is surely to sell.

This window has gone off the rails. I like him but feel like at this stage of the window and everything that has gone on a loan deal may be our best bet for an top player (not sure who). It's all about the title race for the next 6 months.

Pepe LeFrits He's definitely a good backup option on our hands, can just activate and bring him over like Partey on the last few hours of the window so that allows us to try for Caicedo as long as we can.

Big Willie I like to be in our position. Tap the players up, unsettle them and make them twerk for us. Arteta learned as much as he could from Barcelona. It's not funny when people do it to us and definitely not right, but I rather be in this position and have the massive pull again.

if zubimendi was open to leaving in january i think we would trigger his release clause no doubt. but either he's telling the truth or lying about not wanting to leave in january to give barca the best opportunity to work something out for him in the summer. either case the player doesn't want to leave in january so no point in going after him now. moises wants to leave.

Tactics

If Brighton aren't playing ball then we should stop wasting time and trigger Enzo's release clause (around £105m) if it is financially feasible. Having a press resistant high volume passer could take our game/midfield to another level.

Not signing a top class CM this window isn't an option given where we find ourselves.

what i do know is that they are dealing with a man that sells these south americans on the idea of being their gateway to premier league riches (real riches, not brighton riches). fuck around and you'll find out that these south american agents can find other clubs that will put their players in the shop window.
