Who knows, I think Ode renewed recently as well and is currenly in discussions for an extension. Maybe we're at a stage of the game where every year you are rengotiating the same player's salary. That said, if Gabriel is getting paid 50k after his time in France, joining us and then renewing with us then he should sack his agent immediately. No way he should be on less than 150k.

There is no way I can see Chelsea paying what he's worth (even higher than Villa's previous bid) so nothing will happen. Outside chance we'd buckle to whatever's on the table but if that happens, Artedu will deserve every bit of scorn that will likely come their way.

At the start of the window I would have said for the right price sell, at least gives us a chance to find a proper replacement and get them bedded in. But this late it would have to be a mental fee for us to consider it.
